Friday Favorites: Books For The Soul

Hi everyone!  So much has been on my mind and my heart lately, I feel like I am forever in existential crisis (I am SUCH an Aquarius...).  I had a different post planned to put up Wednesday, but so much has been going through my mind lately I put it on hold for now.  I wanted to stay true to my feelings and post about something that is more relevant at the moment!  I am someone who is always searching for the "right" answer, the "right" path to take, and there is never a right answer to anything in life.  There comes a point you have to let your expectations/plans go (to an extent) and let God guide you, but that is so hard for me to do since I am the definition of a Type A control freak.  I wanted to share some books with you all that are incredibly inspirational, provide profound life advice, wisdom, and guidance.  Way more than I could ever give you from my short 22 years of life.

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails" - Proverbs 19:21

"Perhaps the reason you are drawn to flowers is not only for their outer beauty, but because they remind you beautiful things will bloom after the longest season of waiting" - Morgan Harper Nichols

I highly suggest you pick one of these up if you haven't already and keep them on your nightstand for a flip through when you need that extra encouragement.  I love this collection of books, they truly do occupy a special place in my heart they're exceptional reads and I could go on and on about all of them!  I hope you try some (or all) of them out!
